MY REVIEW –

Not the best, not bad.

This story is written by a twenty year old medical student and I guess whoever reads this book will figure that out by the second chapter.

The novel started with various promises, one of them being ‘a suspenseful read’. I didn’t find anything unpredictable in the book. I regret to say that the story really lacked thrill.

Let’s see the positive side of the story and the characters.

Nishanth (delete the n and you can form my name) Hegde (also the author’s Sir name) is a wonderful and benevolent human being. He is a 32 year old doctor who is always helping others whenever and however he could. I liked Nishanth, he really comes as a good and strong protagonist. He wants to help the cancer patients who can’t pay their medical bills and simultaneously, he is working with his scientist friend, Ramdas on an experiment that can save many human lives.

So you understand, why I really like the lead in this story.

Freely we serve

Because we freely love, as in our will

To love or not; in this we stand

or fall.

Then comes his love life. The author failed here. Navya, a clothing designer, loves him and he loves her just as much as the world loves water. What I didn’t get was why the first breakup happened? It was completely unnecessary and lingering. The novel was going fine till that part. The love scenes were awkward and fast. Instead of concentrating on Navya, knowing more about Dhanush and Kashyap would have been better.

Long story short, the protagonist is a doctor who is experimenting with Ramdas to make a medicine that can cure the deadliest diseases. Side by side, the protagonist falls in love with Navya. The experiment is done on him as his blood is immune. The bad guys want him. We don’t know who the bad guys are. He gets threat calls and he with his friend, Kashyap makes a plan which brings us slowly towards the end.

Rating3.5 stars. I know you people are thinking that why am I giving it a almost 4 star if the book is not up to the mark.

– I really read this book in one go, so yeah it is quite irresistible.

– The writing style is neither flat nor difficult.

– The lead of the story is very likeable. A specimen of a good caring human being.

– The story till 60% was definitely good.
– The problems with editing is not author’s fault. I will ask the author (through my review) to get the book proofread again (if he can). There are many spelling mistakes (which is again the editor’s fault)

– For a debut, it was applaudworthy.

And its my brother's birthday. Love you bhai.

It’s our (reviewers) duty to write honest reviews and I definitely recommend it.

Happy Birthday to my Loving Brother! Bless you. Wish you healthy and peaceful years ahead.

Whenever I am upset, he tells me, ” Life isn’t over. What if you couldn’t do ‘that’? There is always something you can do, don’t ever let your past master your future.”
