Blurb — When it comes to love there’s no such thing as conventional.

Everyone thinks Colton Neely is special.

Lilly Evans just thinks he’s fascinating.

Once friends when they were younger, their bond is cut short due to her accident prone nature and they go their separate ways. Years later, they meet again and Lilly learns that there is something special about the boy she once knew, but she has no idea what it all means. And she’s not sure if she’s ready to find out.

When he walks through the corridor of her school the first day of her senior year, she knows that it’s time to get to know the real Colton Neely. The more she learns, the deeper she falls.

Their friendship grows into love, even as Colton does not express it in words. But one decision threatens to break down the world that Lilly has tried so hard to integrate into and she must figure out if the relationship can survive if they are apart.

It is about happy ending and the story

My Thoughts

To The Author –

Amber, I have read many books, many stories which touched my heart, made me cry, made me laugh and feel many other emotions that are just…well..difficult to find in the fiction world. Then, there are some stories that touch my soul, that make me want to continue to read, get inside the book, grab a character and hug him/her to heaven. Those are the books that touch my heart, they come twice or thrice in a year, if I am lucky. Those are the books that touch my soul. There are books like Harry Potter which make you want to leave all the work and complete reading the book, to know the end and then there are books like “Puddle Jumping” which makes the reader want to continue reading the book, hoping the book never ends.

Some people say being honest all the time can be fatal as well,
They were wrong, honesty can never be fatal. It is something that strengthens the relationship in the first place

—- This book taught me to be honest and for once, stop caring about the repercussion.

My review –

The Main Review —

The story starts with Lilly telling us about Colton, the boys she feels something about. Something, as in, it cannot be put to words yet but the feeling is incredibly different, it is the one that makes her want to smile, boast (oh does she show off in front of Colton!) and stalk Colton.

Colton is the kind of guy who is actually quite extinct in this world. He is honest, too honest. He will literally ask you to do things that no normal boy will but Colton is not normal. No, he isn’t. He is someone who is way better than normal. He is someone I would not mind in my life (fuck, be realistic Nishtha, you will love this guy and you know that)

Fine Truth Accepted!

I fell for Colton just when Lilly did. He is the kind of guy I guess every girl wants in her life but is not ready to accept.

Nope, we do not want a guy who asks us to brush our teeth before kissing
But we do want a guy who is honest about everything (every single thing) so yeah..I guess everyone wants a guy who is truthful and trustworthy.

Colton is actually….well….lemme shut up because I really should continue with the story.

So yeah, Lily knows there is something mysterious about him. He is just different. Soon, she comes to know about the truth. He is special. The more she gets to know him, the more she falls (the more do I)

The more she falls, the more it gets difficult to get out of the feeling. It is impossible. She and Colton ….

Should I tell more?

There is a love story, all the characters are believable and amazing. Harper is the best friend we all have (I do) and the parents are simply awesome. They look credible, you can believe that people like them do exist. The feeling, each touch, each tear, each smile is too honest.

The Author is incredible, very articulate and I am voting this “the book of the year.”

Rating — 5.1 stars

And more if I had.

Love is not a feeling that can be expressed in 3 words,
It is love, an emotion which has to be felt

Thanks to Kavita for the recommendation

Waiting desperately for your book as well.
