Point Ten Zeros Six None

(Fables Of Fatal Fate – Book 1)
                     —– Dhiraj Singh

Jeetu and Aashu are hopelessly in love with each other. And they profess to be each other’s soulmates in the next life too. As they embark on a journey of love and life together, they encounter several trying circumstances, which threaten to shake their faith in humanity. Can the power of karma and the strength of their love protect them and help them tide over their troubles? What happens to the people who betray their trust? Will karma catch up with them too? In God’s larger scheme of things, someone unfortunately must pay the price.

My Review – I will start my review with the author’s own quote

“Love is a strange word. It’s the only thing in the world that makes life worth living for, dying for and killing for.”

Wow, Bollywood much? Romantic much? Thrilling much?

The best things about this books—

° You cannot leave it anywhere in between (try it, you can’t)

° The story is gripping from the first line.

° Has action, (Mr.Bhola with his six.three inch frame rocked) and suspense.

° The best female lead, Aashu is someone you can’t help but like. Nothing like those leads who are jealous every second chapter. She cares, trusts and loves Jeetu with all her heart.

° Jeetu, a brilliant character as the protagonist. He is not only head over heels in love with Aashu, he worships the ground she walks upon. I loved his sincerity. Also, the funny moments when he apologised to God for being the way he is.

° The book had an excellent story and even better writer who explained each and every thing in detail whether it was Aashu’s saree or the sun (I am being precise.)

I loved the book. I have to be honest. I did cry at one moment (I can’t tell when because that will be a spoiler)

The suspense was not predictable so it shocked me.

Ratings –
Five stars

Worth the time and money.

I loved it!

1st and 2nd February

As I have already told you guys before, I am not going to blog daily. I could but I want to write important contents, reviews and favourites (topics).

So what is it today?

Source - goodreads

Books that I don’t like —

I don’t hate them nor the authors ( how could someone hate authors), I expected a lot and received way less.

Top five –

Some books here are actually liked by many people. Readers have different likes and dislikes so I am not asking or persuading you to not read them or buy them. Please do what your heart says. There are just some books which I anticipated a lot from.

Blurb – Amy Turner’s about to graduate from high school and all she wants is a job. Actually, all she wants is to find a way to pay for college. Amy certainly isn’t looking for love when she answers an ad to baby-sit a boy-she just needs the cash. But the job has a catch: The boy is blind…and he’s her age.

Tristan Edmund may be hot, but he doesn’t want Amy’s help. Or so he thinks. After being blinded in a horse show-jumping competition, Tristan spends his days in the dark, refusing to accept his disability. Much to his annoyance, Amy bursts into his life and drags him into the light. But just as the two begin to see something in each other, Tristan’s beautiful ex-girlfriend shows up. Will the temptation be too much, or will Tristan choose the girl who really sees him?

My review –

Nishtha‘s review

bookshelves: 2-5-starsconfused-heroinedisability,renee-carter

Read on September 15, 2015

I read so many positive reviews on this book then read it before any other book of this week and the result was “Seriously??”

Firstly, the heroine isn’t a doormat, no, she is a very self centred, insanely jealous of nothing and a jester of the hero (who is blind) kinda girl. How could I love the book after that? Honestly, If I was blind and the hero, I would have murdered (exaggerating) her the first time she lied to me.

Secondly, it was too fast, how they started becoming friends and then more than friends ….wow can you get any more fast?

I understand people have different tastes, so if some are liking this book then ‘Great’.

2.5 stars

4 – When Fangirls Lie (How (Not) to be Seduced by Rockstars #1) — MARIAN TEE

Blurb – Sapphire “Saffi” March used to be known as an eccentric genius, the girl who had made a laughingstock of her illustrious family. But she’s reinvented herself since then. Now a post-graduate honor student, Saffi is determined to be a dutiful daughter, with no one in her world ever supposed to know she’s also the most diehard fangirl of Sweden’s #1 Sex God.

It’s her greatest secret, and the times she watches the sex god sing and dance are the only times she could just breathe…and be herself.

Handsome like a classical statue but earthy and sexy like a pagan god, Staffan Aehrenthal is the most wildly successful rockstar that ever came on stage. He should be celebrating being on top of his world, but a woman’s betrayal had Staffan forging a path to self-destruction instead.

Life no longer meant anything – until serendipity introduced him to a beautiful and funny girl with an adorably unique fascination with fishes.

When their worlds collide on one fateful weekend, Saffi is disguised as a gum-chewing hardcore groupie while Staffan pretends he hasn’t been trailing after her all over the Internet. It’s a recipe for the most hilarious and heartbreaking of disasters because when fangirls lie, the craziest things can happen – like a rockstar falling in love.

MY REVIEW – This book started with so many promises, a good little girl in love with a Rockstar.

I have read some books by the same author, she writes quite nicely but this book wasn’t my cup of tea.

Story without spoiler – So, there is this girl who is the daughter of the Senator and sister to really popular people. She is also a huge fan of a rock star, Staffan. Sapphire or Saffi wants to be a dutiful daughter, thus she goes to his show changing her entire self. She dresses in the shortest clothes and acts like a Groupie.

What I didn’t understand?

Didn’t she have any self respect? Its completely okay to dress in whatever you like, say whatever you want but actually ready to be sexually …..what’s the word… It can’t be molested because she was all set for it….but well the guy literally did sexual things to her on the stage in front of thousands of people and the good girl had no problem. The book is just sex sex sex after that, no story. Well, some of us readers WANT A STORY. It was just too much for me. I don’t have problem with story that contain adult stuff… I am like, okay if I don’t like it, I will skip it. But this story…well how could the person be portrayed as a innocent good little dutiful girl if she does that…again and again. There was also this one scene…

The rock star asks her and some other girls to kiss wherever they want, so where do you think she kisses him?

Oh no …

Its the forehead.
Sisterly much?

Like way wrong, even I will not do that.. I will be like

“Can we take a selfie for my instagram? Also will you please follow me?

BLURB – A notorious rake is about to make the ultimate faux pas—fall in love with his own wife.

Gil Truman has eyes only for the beautiful Tilly—until he is forced to marry plain, sickly Rose Davenport to reclaim the lands his father foolishly gambled away. After a disastrous wedding night tainted with his bitterness, he deposits Rose at his remote Northumbrian estate, soothing his guilt with the thought that she need never lay eyes on him again.

Five years after the mortifying wedding night that destroyed all her romantic fantasies, Rose is fed up with hearing second- and third-hand reports of Gil’s philandering ways. She is no longer the shy, homely girl he left behind, but a strong, confident woman who knows how to run an estate. And knows what she wants—her husband, back in their marriage bed.

Gil doesn’t recognize the bold, flirtatious woman he meets at a ball, with or without her mask. Yet he is bewitched and besotted, and their night together is the most passionate he has ever known.

But when he confesses his sins to the beautiful stranger, the truth rips open the old wounds of their blighted history. Threatening any hope of a future together.

Product Warnings: Contains a flawed hero who can be redeemed with the right woman—the one who’s been under his nose the whole time. Ain’t that just like a man?

I want to be very honest about how this book made me feel, I loved the start, really thought that this hero, Gilbert would be utterly charming and a gentleman but only after a few pages of the book, I was chagrined, deeply so. I think that Gilbert was a philanderer and a bastard, also I have no compassion for the heroine because she was a doormat. Hero could come and make a mockery of her, belittle her and she would just stand there, thinking, “It was my fault, my Dad’s fault.” blah blah blah. I don’t want to touch this book every again, once was enough.

uh huh, I am angry but there is a reason, I seriously fail to understand where was the heroine wrong, how was it her fault, how could…….that’s a spoiler.

To the writing style, I have read the best books but some of them would be inferior to this one in the narration, maybe too fast, perhaps very slow but this novel was in its best pace. All in all, It was an okay book which I wouldn’t recommend for entertainment.

2 –  TIGHT by Alexandra Torre – One of my favourite authors of 2015 is the writer of this novel.

Blurb – Tight

by Alessandra Torre (Goodreads Author)

 4.07  ·  Rating Details  ·  7,135 Ratings  ·  1,128Reviews

I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.

I also hadn’t got laid in three years. Hadn’t been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup… a while ago.

Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.

The issue is his secret.
The issue is her.
The issue is that I don’t even know she exists, and he thinks she’s dead.
The issue is that shit is about to hit the fan and I can’t hold on to him tight enough.

My review — Oh…My BAD LUCK!

What I fail to understand is how I can love a work by the same author and equally dislike (yeah I hate the damn story) the other novel.
Where ‘Hollywood Dirt’ and ‘The Dumont Diaries’ made me expect more and more, this book stuck a dagger through all my hopes!

.5 stars, just because I like Alessandra Torre’s writing!

I was angry. I love Torre’s writing, I still can’t believe she had written this but well, many people did like this.

Dishonourable mentions –

•••• The Coming Home Place – Mary Spencer

•••• Grey – E.L.James

And here is it, the Dad of all

1 – Captive in the dark – C.J.ROBERTS

BLURB – I’m writing this because you begged. (Why did she?)

You know how I love the begging.(You are kinda disgusting like that)

In fact, you probably know too many things and know them far too well.(Oh yes, we do. Something’s which we don’t even want to)

Who am I? Well, that’s what I’m trying to figure out. I was a whore in my youth, a killer since my adolescence, and a monster as a man. I am the man who kidnapped Livvie. I am the man who held her in a dark room for weeks. But, most importantly, I am the man she loves. (You have it all right)

She loves me. It’s quite sick, isn’t it? (It is)

Of course, there’s more to our story than can be surmised in a few short sentences, but I’m at a loss for justifying my behavior back then. I assume if you’re reading this, I don’t need to make those justifications. You’ve already made your own. You’re reading this because you want to know about the rest of the story. You want to know what happened that warm summer night in September of 2010, the night I met Livvie at The Paseo. It was the night my life changed all over again. It didn’t happen exactly as Livvie said. She’s been very kind to me in the retelling of our story. The truth is far more…complicated.

Oct 16, 2015

This is the first series in history that I didn’t like AT ALL.

Completely disappointed and repulsed.

Marybeth Uh-oh…. it has to be somewhat worse than FSOG if you don’t like it, bestie!!! lol!!!
Oct 18, 2015 08:26AM ·

Nishtha Actually its nothing like FSOG, its very dark and twisted. There is no hero, Caleb is sin.

And those were my top non-favourite reads of 2015.

Comment yours if you have any.

I tried to like them, I did.

“When we read a novel, all the characters in it are suppose to be fictitious; and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, must be entirely coincidental, right? But what if one day you find a Novel and when you start reading it, you feel that you know the characters in it? You feel that you are familiar with the incidences in it. Will it be just a coincidence…?

Sometimes some people come in our life, they live and then leave, with a hole in our soul, which we can feel but can’t fill, we try to survive but end up DeadAlive”

My Review —

It’s a almost four star actually.

“The heart has its reasons—of which
reason knows nothing.”

—Blaise Pascal … The story was a suspenseful one. To all those readers who don’t believe in dropping the book amidst.

Why you should read this book—-

If you’re looking for a different story, looking for a new author, a cute love story, looking for a book at cheap price, are travelling, then this is it FOR YOU.

It was a book that made me curious from the start about the mysterious novel which the protagonist found in the packet. Honestly, I wanted to creep in to the last pages but being a strict reader, I didn’t. I loved the cover, it was going in sync with the title of the book ‘DeadAlive’. As for the love story, it was lovely, from friends to lovers.

Looking forward to new books by the author.

I will leave on a happy note…

Favourite Person of the year 2015

She is just fantastic

Saw her for the first time on a roast of Charlie Sheen (on YouTube) and she just became my favourite comedian

Amy Schumer is a beautiful woman and a very famous comedian/actress/host/person.

With her carefree attitude, constant smiles, dirty mouth, questioning and funny frowns, she has won the heart of millions of people around the globe.

After watching her roasting people, I couldn’t help but google her. I found that she is not only in comedy shows but she has her own show.

Funny and charming

SNL, comes on comedy central. She speaks her mind. She is completely liberal in her thinking and behaviour. She is a versatile actress, you see the SNL episodes and you will believe it.
According to some of her fans, her work is praised mostly because of the way she speaks.

How she just knows when to speak what, is like magic. The joke never fails. Like other comedians, she won’t laugh after making the joke but continue with her act. That’s quite incredible. Also, her jokes are adult so you might want keep the kids away from the television when you are watching the show.

Then, there was this really funny movie

A great movie with a powerful script written by none other than AMY SCHUMER. According to her, the story is about a girl who is like her. The main role is ofcourse played by the Comedian, Amy and let me tell you, she banged it. It was just awesome. The story is about a girl named Amy who doesn’t want to settle down because her father gave her some advice in the past which she took seriously. This girl falls in love with Aaron (a doctor) but doesn’t know what to do about it. She ignores the poor guy but for how long?

A small scene from the movie —

Amy: I’ve been with a lot of guys.
Aaron: I don’t care!… How many?
Amy: I don’t know. How many girls have you slept with?
Aaron: I’ve slept with three women.
Amy: Me too. I have slept with three women too.
Aaron: How many guys?
Amy: What, like, this year?

Another –

Amy: What am I doing? I slept at the doctor’s place last night.

Nikki: You never spend the night. What were you, blackout drunk?

Amy: No, I had like two drinks… Three, max… Four, now that I’m tallying.

Nikki: Cause you’re on antibiotics or something?

Amy: Oh my god, he’s calling me.

Nikki: Why would he call? You guys just had sex.

Amy: [answers phone] This is Amy. I think you butt dialed me.

Aaron: No, I dialed you with my fingers.

Amy: [to Nikki] He called me on purpose.

Nikki: Hang up! He’s obviously like sick or something.

Aaron: I was calling to say I had a really good time last night and was wondering if you wanted to, um, hang out again.

Nikki: I’m going to call the police.

Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy.

So, Amy Schumer is my favourite rising star and person of the year.

Congratulations to her for such success and All the best for the future!

You are the best.

What you are doing against gun violence is plausible.

Is it possible to love a book by an author and equally hate another book by the same author?

No? Well anything is feasible in this world.

Let’s just start with my review of four different novel/series by this beautiful Author.

Enrapturing cover

What I think about the book?

Let’s just say there is this new author in TOWN who writes the best stories.

It wasn’t boring.
It was Exciting.
It has a kickass Heroine.
An actual hero.
A wonderful story.
And a romance.

Excerpt –

Cole Masten Abandoned by his superstar wife, Hollywood’s Perfect Husband is now Hollywood’s Sexiest Bachelor: partying hard and screwing even harder. Watch out Los Angeles, there’s a new bad boy in town.

Summer Jenkins That’s me, a small town girl stuck in Quincy, Georgia. I cook some mean chicken and dumplins, can bluff a grown man out of his savings in poker, and was voted Most Friendly my senior year.

We were from different worlds. Our lives shouldn’t have collided. But then Cole Masten read a book about my small town. And six months later, his jet landed on our dusty airstrip, and he brought Hollywood with him.

From the start, I knew he was trouble. For our town. And for me.

Sometimes, opposites just aren’t meant to attract.

Why this book?

What I really loved about this story was that Summer wasn’t a huge doormat. She was friendly, vivacious and very independent. She knew how to deal with Cole. There was a wild chemistry brewing between Cole and Summer and the author narrated it phenomenally.

2) Tight –

My Review –

What I fail to understand is how I can love a work by the same author and equally hate ( yeah I hate the damn story) the other novel.
Where ‘Hollywood Dirt’ and ‘The Dumont Diaries’ made me expect more and more, this book stuck a dagger through all my hopes !

0.5 stars, just because I like Alessandra Torre’s writing!

3) The Dumont Series –

Review –

It was a short series, I wish I could do an audio review coz I seriously don’t want to write, type or think. But I really liked this book so a review is a must.

NO, it’s nothing like that (I love Fifty shades, don’t judge me) What I really liked about this series was its protagonist, the girl. I freaking adored her. She was brave, means I would have killed the hero by the sequel but she? She tolerated him. I hated the hero at first, but I was also intrigued. Like WHY IS HE DOING THAT!
It was all for a reason though.

A story of a girl who is trying to live by stripping and stuff (she wasn’t exactly a whore) but money is something she doesn’t have and needs very much as her father is suffering.

The hero is another matter, he loves a girl (still does) who cheated him, deceived him, played with his trust and ran with his money. He can’t forget her but he does know how to bring her back (by making her jealous, seriously? I loved it) So, from there the main story starts….

This story had me hooked for a whole night, it isn’t long but it is very exciting and different from others. Its not fifty kinda dirty but its also not 16+. It’s adult so kids and teens stay away.

4) Innocence Series

The first part of the series was interesting and exciting. The second was too lingering and third was a bit dull. All in all, I am not going to pick this one up anytime soon.

“I’m not sure what you have been told about me, but I’m not nearly as bad as they make me out to be.” His deliciously deep voice carried a little bit of ego.

I’m sure you are exactly as bad as they make you out to be….

Brad De Luca is used to getting whatever and whomever he wants. The premier divorce attorney in town, he’s a playboy who’s bedded half the city—including his own clients. And when the newest intern at his firm poses a challenge, his seductive prowess goes into overdrive.

Pre-law student Julia Campbell is fresh off a failed engagement and happy with her new independence. Even if she weren’t warned away from Brad at every turn, she’d know he was bad news. The last thing she needs is a man who could destroy her job prospects, not to mention her innocence. But before she knows it, the incorrigible charmer has her under his spell. His deviant tastes plunge her deep into a forbidden world of sexual exploration…but her heart may not survive the fall.

Why I didn’t like this book?

Brad De Luca is not my definition of an ideal hero. What I really didn’t like about him was his extreme dominance. It was like the man was facing some mental disorder, he was bipolar. Julia Campbell on the other hand is warned by almost everyone to not go near him because he is a playboy. Even after a failed engagement, she hasn’t learned about the difference between Gentleman and an overweening stubborn

stalker. The first part was really good, I enjoyed it very much (no lies there) and I tried to like the second one but I couldn’t. I continued and read the whole series, I found it dull and extremely lingering

It is just so incredible that I loved Hollywood dirt and Dumont series so much (5 stars much) and disliked tight (0.5 star) and Innocence Series (2.5 stars)

I can’t believe the contradiction myself but its true.

At the end, I will conclude by saying

“Everyone has different views, likes and dislikes so do not be surprised if you like the books I didn’t. It’s natural, even one of my favourite bloggers loved ‘Tight’.”

Christmas, Santa Claus coming by train...:)

God Bless you all. Wish you a wonderful Christmas, an awesome holiday and prosperous weekend.

Rating – five stars (*****)

Whether it was the beginning or the ending, I can’t deduce but it just reached all the expectations I had, sailed through and crossed them.

Coffee is must

The writing style, the words used, the plot, the characters ( all of them) and the not-very-lingering but very coherent chapters made me addicted to this book. Maybe it was the way the writer explained everything starting with a beautiful portrayal of the island, the mountains and the Kallika river.

When I started the book, I had no perception (whatsoever) regarding the story. The story came as a shock (a wonderful one at that). It could be the positive intuition I had for this book that led me to read it before the selected date. I heartily thank the author for writing it.

A weak cover but the story is great

” It started with the marvellously exceptional depiction of the island and then the Sarpameru Mountain. The author then unfolded a story of a legendary Saint, Rishi Kshiprajyoti, a resident of main lands. He believed in self sacrifice and self renunciation. A non materialistic person who had trust in the power of celibacy. Out of his powers, an island emerges in which he and his eleven disciples live with Tripu( who had a short and a very delightful story too). Soon the deaths start, the eight headed serpent is killing them. He claims that the island is his. The Saint’s anger is menacing.

(Now here is a spoiler if I tell who won! So that is for you to read and find out.)

Then, the other part (the main part) of the story starts, after a long time, this island has many societies living inside it, all have different characteristics. Some are indignant, some smart, some submissive, some dominative. Will this society which came to existence with the competence of a great soul come to void due to the war between the people of divergent Creed and regress with time or Will it prosper in trade, industry and economy by crushing the bars of creed, religious differentiations and start living happily in the heterogeneous Society?

This book was amazing.

“Even a cat will attack if it is cornered.”

Recommended to everyone

Also, I checked that the author wrote another awesome book. Though I haven’t read it, but I will do that next year, hopefully.

“The Travails Of An Indian Muslim”

I love the cover.

It is my second book by the author, but this book was so different and better ( Chase of Choices was great ) than the other one.

What was the best thing?

°°° The In-depth narration.

°°° The characters, and the hidden meaning behind their names, Satya, Raja, Thomas.

°°° TASARA, and the hidden pillar.

°°° The prologue and the epilogue (they were so necessary). The starting of this story was exciting itself, how a journalist is given a new work, to find the fourth and the hidden person behind the company TaSaRa.

But then, the writer takes us to the past, we get lost in the story so thoroughly that the suspense is hard to resist. I wanted to read the book in one go but it wasn’t possible because the story is long (not long as in too lingering but inevitably long)

°°° The spiritual and mental swings are quite difficult to write and make articulate but the writer did it with ease, that was another reason to touch this book.

°°° A very important read for the people who are working or want to do a job in the future.

°°° Awesome work, phenomenal writing and brilliant characters.

4.5 stars

Hair Parameshwar is also famous for his other books, one of which I have read and enjoyed.

Chase of Choices

I completed this book on the 19th of May this year.

The Review •••••

Thirty pages and I was hooked

The protagonist, Ravi Raj Nambiar was in search of a woman who can be a wife, helpmate and mother to his children. He had a profile on IDM through which he reviewed the proposals (matrimonial interests). He yearned for Olivia Claire, an American woman, a mother of two children who had emailed him about her interest in him but he was suspicious of her too because why would a American woman want to marry a Indian Man? Well well well, that is a spoiler but I can tell a little tiddle bit that is she has a feeling that Ravi is her soulmate.

Then there is Meenu, with curly short hair and a cute face who also interests him but there is something strange about her.

At last there are Anjali and Priya, I liked Anjali more than the others. Anjali is a ghazal singer, with her soft melodious and child like voice, her mature thinking and kind nature, she is the most convenient choice. Each of them has a special benefit, in the end who will Ravi choose?

There are so many choices , so many pathways from which we have to choose one. What I liked the most about this book were the forty six universal laws of human life. A human gets so many choices in his life from which he can choose just one and simultaneously, he should be careful about any wild goose chase. The author described about the characters in detail which also made it more absorbing and exciting.

A welcoming read also a mirthful one with love, suspense and drama.

Other books by the author •••••

‘Many Paths and Many Answers’ is another book by the same author. This is about corporate spiritualism and meaning of life.

Hari Parameshwar with his articulate language and comprehensive writing knows how to excite his readers and make them curious to read more. The editing is accurate without any error (atleast my eyes couldn’t find any)

                    – AMIT SHANKAR

I posted a review on Goodreads once but it was so concise and inadequate, I had to post again. The stories are short and sweet, hence, I can’t spoil the fun for you by writing about them.

The Shorter Review–

18 short stories together in a book.
I don’t like short stories much but this book written by Amit Shankar is simply grasping. I read it during a long journey and I liked most of the stories.

Worth the time!
You looking for short stories?

The Adequate Review–

I already reviewed this book once but I didn’t really mention anything about the book itself so here it is-

Good things about the book —

– The stories are not THAT short

– The stories were complete

– Some of them will make you say,” Holy..”, so be prepared.

– The writer knew what he was writing so the suspense is unpredictable.

– Some stories may just become your favourites. My favourites were many, especially the one about the doctor and suicidal patient, and the one with the person who could foresee things.

– There was also this story about a phone call that seriously rose the hair on the back of my neck.

– I read it during a journey, I hate travelling so if I liked this one, the credit goes to this book

No doubt, I am going to try the other books by the same author.

Bad points —

I will tell you when I find out for myself.

Also, the cover is awesome!

THIS IS A 18+ PLUS NOVEL.. So it will contain sex, the Author isn’t begging you to read it and review it …(Do I sound cruel? Well I am and so were you in your reviews)

We have a general right to speak and write what we want. If you don’t like a book, close, pack it and sell it on olx. If you can’t, then a small advice, always read an excerpt before buying a book. Yes, you have a right to write whatever you want about the book but please be a little bit careful because somehow you are hurting the feelings of the author. I found many reviews on goodreads and Amazon which looked honest from the heart, but some were disappointing, like a teen taking out his anger on the book.

I didn’t exactly love the first part of the book, I found it different, too much sex was involved. I even turned pages to read next. Yup, I turned pages when I found a thing I didn’t like. The story in general was very capturing. I LOVED IT. I hold nothing against the author and I have no right to.

Christian was a dominant man so yeah there were some scenes that might shock some people. Anastasia was a independent girl living in a independent country completing her college when her best friend falls ill. So, instead of her best-friend, she goes to take an interview. Christian who isn’t expecting her, is shocked if not a bit curious. Slowly, the interview turns into a disaster when Ana asks Christian if he is gay. The story carries itself from there, the story is funny, romantic, not a little bit lingering, and exciting. If you are shy of reading sex, then either don’t read it or skip it.

I have read it three time (with a huge time gap) already and I don’t think it’s Gross! It’s AWESOME!

The second part starts with forgiveness. Ana and Christian make another contract and decide to stay together only on certain conditions.
This book considerably is less explicit and the love story progresses.

If you don’t like explicit sex, dominance and a love story that can make you cry, don’t read it.

Trust me, you can turn pages for those scenes you call porn {a collection of images of something filthy, synonyms (pornography)erotica filming , filthy images} but you are missing a really Heartwarming and EMOTIONAL story.

Five bold stars!

The third and last part of the trilogy is my favourite. It starts with their marriage followed by an unplanned pregnancy which leads to another fight between Ana and Christian. Christian accuses Ana of many things which will make you want to Christian’s arse but ……..

Well, you will have to read to know what happens next.

“Tell me, what’s your type?” He looked at me and smiled. “I don’t discriminate.”

” Basically,I like women who are self confident. That’s about it. “

What would you do if you met someone who defied all of your stereotypes?

This is my first book by the author, the excerpt is quite interesting. As a addicted reader, I do not judge a book by its cover but the content still I’d say I liked the cover.

The book is based on the life of Isabel, a self confident, black haired, intelligent Spanish girl who is a linguist and a law student. She is a bad arse and a complete antonym of door mat. Coming out of a bad relationship, she stays away from one. As a person, she is kind hearted and helpful, where people are not aiding the needy, she does.

As for the Hero, wow, Tarek is not your usual brooding alpha type (Like, “Stay away if you value your life” kind) , Isabel would probably ask him to keep his crap together and leave for good. Tarek, another law student and a very smart guy is a person Isabel finds hard to stay away from. He, with his flirtatious smile and genial nature steals her heart. This is the first part of the series so we come to know the details about Isabel’s family background, her job and her friends (Who are very funny and will make you laugh throughout the story). I will completely understand if at the end of this book you yell, ” When’s the next part coming?”

The book altogether is a funny, interesting and exciting read. I will give it a five stars as for a debut, it was a very gripping and absorbing read. Honestly, I am waiting for the second book to come very soon so that I can know what will happen next.

Are you awake?

Of course. You think I’m asleep this early?

I could literally hear the sarcasm through the phone. I texted back.

Do you mind if I call you?

Next thing I knew, my phone rang. It was him.

       – a small paragraph from the book. Still need a reason to read it?
